Paintings

Painting allows me to explore elements of nature through different forms of natural subjects as well as man-made structures. My goal is to compare and contrast landscapes of various scenes and allow the viewer to see organic forms. By manipulating value scales I have created landscapes of an abstracted manner that pull the viewer’s eyes toward the back of the canvas. As the objects in the compositions recede, they become fainter and smaller which creates the illusion of depth found in landscapes.
