With a clear awareness of the current conditions of the River District based on research from analysis and mapping, we were now ready to develop the master plan ideas. The class discussed appropriate measures to indroduce in the master plan. Roles of trace paper were used to determine alternatives that were ultimately merged into one final master plan idea. The master plan provides a wide range of opportunities discussed by the City of Fort Collins that include: residentail, retail, arts, culture, and most importantly access to the river. After collaborating with my team on the master plan design, my role was to develop the master plan into a graphic format. This included developing the autoCAD layout and rendering the image in Photoshop. I presented the following images in a presentation to the city on behalf of the class.
