Charlie Meeks

Gaining a clear understanding of the River District became the first step in the process. Documenting and analyzing the current condition allowed the class to better understand the area's qualities and deficiencies. The class made use of geographic information systems, autoCAD, Adobe Illustrator, and site visits to create a database of base maps. An extensive amount of information was collected on the district resulting in the clear outcome that the River District was lacking in many areas, while the Historic District holds much of the desirable destination opportunities.
